Student of the Month
Daniel Whiting
November
Daniel Whiting, a senior at Carl Albert High School, is the November student of the month at Mid-Del Technology Center. Daniel is in the Health Careers program with Mrs. Angela Norwood.
Daniel is a member of the 2009-2010 Leadership Team. He has assisted with Parent/Student Orientation, Mid-Del School Board presentations, MDTC's Business and Industry Advisory Committees, and sophomore tours. Daniel is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society, and is the current HOSA President of the p.m. class. At Carl Albert High School, Daniel is a member of Youth for Christ.
According to Mrs. Norwood, Daniel arrives in class and begins working without direction. He is trustworthy, honest and dependable. I have often witnessed him assisting other students with difficult, complex issues. He has also assisted me with some mathematical situations. Daniel volunteers at his church and is an active member. He exhibits positive behaviors for all to follow.
Upon high school graduation in May, Daniel plans to attend Rose State College for two years, then transfer to the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma Baptist University to study pre-med. He eventually would like to attend O.U. to become a pediatrician.
Congratulations to Daniel Whiting November Student of the Month!
