Student of the Month
Trang Nguyen
February
Trang Nguyen, a senior at Del City High School, is the February Student of the Month at Mid-Del Technology Center. Trang is in Health Careers Certification with Mrs. Carol Steele.
At MDTC, Trang is President of the HOSA chapter. She has participated in the MDTC HOSA Leadership conference and the coat drive. At Del City High School, Trang received a prestigious academic letter jacket and maintains a 4.2 grade point average. Trang works after school for State Farm Insurance Agency in Oklahoma City.
According to Mrs. Steele, "Trang is an excellent student. She is very sincere in her efforts. She is respectful and always willing to help others. She is great at leadership and sets a fine example for her peers." Steele adds, "I have felt so honored to have her in my class."
Upon high school graduation, Trang plans to attend Rose State College to get her associates degree in Licensed Practical Nursing. She then plans to transfer to the O.U. Health Science Center to complete her RN degree.
